Random parent thought, October 2026

I keep thinking about how throughout all of human history, in each culture that ever developed, there have been little crazed toddlers jumping off of furniture and throwing tantrums. There were Mongolian toddlers refusing to eat yak meat while their parents worked in Genghis Khan's army; there is a toddler right now in an ISIS stronghold in North Africa throwing little baby hands when getting changed because he didn't feel like wearing pants today. It's an oddly humanizing thought that I needed to share. Feel like there is a history to be written and enjoyed on the history of toddlers, how they and their parents survived.
